There’s a lot more to Microsoft’s premiere productivity suite than meets the eye. The objective of this webinar is to introduce users to three Microsoft 365 tools: OneNote, SharePoint and Teams.

An introduction to OneNote

In this session, professionals will become familiar with the various features and capabilities that Microsoft OneNote offers.

This session is for power users who need to support end-users, and advise on functionality. This deceptively simple yet powerful tool helps individuals and teams streamline the way they work.

Sharing, planning and collaborating with Microsoft 365 apps

During this session, we will outline best practices for sharing, planning and collaborating.

We will review how to work with Planner and To Do for tracking and managing task lists. Your instructor will demonstrate how to use OneNote and Wiki for sharing and managing Notes. We will then shift our focus to meetings, specifically how to share meeting information like agendas, meeting minutes and notes using a Wiki in a Microsoft Teams meeting in Outlook versus meeting in a Teams channel.

We will conclude with an overview using apps within Microsoft Teams versus online versions.

Microsoft Teams: beyond the basics

In this session, we outline how to manage channels, roles, tabs and take a closer look at file discovery and sharing.

This session is recommended for all users who are looking to advance their skills beyond basic everyday use.

PowerPoint 101

In PowerPoint 101, users will learn how to make a basic presentation. We will demonstrate different slide layouts, graphical objects, format slides with design options and organize a presentation using sections.

Excel 101

In this session, we will demonstrate how to get started with Excel (create, save, open and close workbooks), modify worksheets, use basic formulas and functions and format/view/print worksheets. Ideal for recent graduates or beginner Excel users.

Microsoft Word: beyond the basics

In this session, we will cover the following: using the Navigation Pane, word styles, themes, table of contents, page breaks, cover pages and using the Ruler and tab stops.

Getting started with Visio

In this session, we will help users learn how to get started with Microsoft Visio. We will demo how to use a template, arrange and connect shapes and modify shapes with text. We will take a deep dive into some Visio diagrams including organization charts, network diagrams, workflows, and more.

Outlook: beyond the basics

In this session, professionals will learn how to work with different mail views, use clean up options, create and use quick steps, work with Outlook rules, share and use calendars and tasks versus to do’s.

An introduction to Microsoft Teams

In this demo, we will walk users through a day in the life of a Microsoft Teams user. We will weave in best practices and etiquette to help them optimize their work and get the most out of their Microsoft 365 environment. Connect, communicate and collaborate!

In this session, we will provide an overview of SharePoint and a demo of the following: Site content, pages, document libraries and lists.

OneDrive: sharing and collaborating

During this session, we will broaden user’s understanding of how to best leverage OneDrive file sharing and collaboration capabilities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. We will demonstrate how to work with your synced files directly in File Explorer, share files and collaborate with users both inside and outside of your organization.

Excel: beyond the basics

This session is for everyday Excel users who are ready to advance their skills to the next level.  Professionals will learn how to manage worksheet data, specialized functions, basic charts, how to combine data and all about excel tables.

Getting started with Microsoft Bookings

In this one hour users will learn all about Microsoft Bookings. We will start with an overview of Bookings, explore Bookings versus other calendars, provide examples of use cases and demonstrate how to setup and manage your Bookings.
